Ever since the royal couple’s wedding on 29 April 2011 we've been holding our breath for this news and now their little one is nearly here! Over the past few months, and more recently at the Queen's Birthday Parade, we've been seeing sensational photographs of the Duchess of Cambridge, dressed up to the nines in divine outfits showing off her blooming figure and thoroughly enjoying her days out. You may think that a day of pampering, celebrating and looking gorgeous is just for the Royal Family but we believe that every pregnant lady should feel beautiful and special especially in the last few weeks before her life is turned upside-down forever (in a good way!)

Last Monday we had the honour of photographing Charlotte Holmes, Miss England 2012, at her last official shoot as title holder.

 

It has been an amazing year. Since winning the title last June, Charlotte went on to 8th place at Miss World (competing with 115 others), she featured at the Mauritius Carnival for Fiesta (Charlotte has Mauritian roots) and has raised a huge amount of money for charity.

Charlotte has achieved so much, but her journey to become Miss England really began back in 2009 when she visited Fresh Academy for Miss Fresh Photographic - our very own Miss England heat.

In 2009 she was crowned Miss Charity Queen, but missed out on the top spots to Rachel Christie and Kat Hodge. Undeterred, Charlotte went on to feature on Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model 2010 and placed 4th in the competition. Needless to say she caught our attention - we simply love photographing models in the making! Having visited Fresh Academy for the fourth (or fifth?) time, Charlotte went on to claim the title of Miss Modelesque, and secured her place in the final of Miss England.

Third time lucky, Charlotte was crowned Miss England 2012! We love having Charlotte visit our studios, not only is she beautiful, she’s intelligent, gracious and has been a friend of Fresh for a long time… Who wouldn’t welcome her back?
